This Blows

Natural User Interfaces can be really interesting when they leverage interactions that people use in every day life, but sometimes research in this area goes a little bit far afield. Here is one example, BAMB the "blow" user interface. I can't think of a single reasonable application for this.

As for reasonable applications: Someone who is immobile (paralyzed from the neck down) might appreciate using this to drive their interactions (as well as eye movement).

"unreasonable" applications, however are far more fun ....

Well, Paul. You are absolutely right.

And if that's its intended purpose - to aid the handicapped - than great, but if there are any thoughts of applying this to people who have full use of their limbs than I just don't see it.

I found that Pantech has a mobile phone with "blow" control interface.
